Note: this scene is taken from Wyvernhail. It is when the mongrel Hai uses her powers to look into the future and sees this. To me I shaped it into not being too far, in fact it is very close, involving the grandchildren.
Ikuseghan stood in the courtyard of Wyvern's Court, her eyes fixed on a woman who walked until she stood before her. The woman had fair skin and long golden hair, her eyes were deep garnet that peered deeply into the golden gaze of the hawk.
The cobra began to laugh. "You look like you saw a ghost!" she teased and hugged her friend who began weeping. "I...I thought you were dead...the birth was hard I heard." Zanouche winced. "It was, almost killed us. But we were blessed to survive, my son and I." The two girls just stood there, smiling at each other before the babbles of an infant made them look down. They then knelt beside the baby who was resting in a basket at the Tuuli Thea's feet.
"This is Lunah," Ikuseghan whispered even though the child was awake and peering up at her mother with identical gold eyes. The only difference between mother and daughter was that the toddler had white-blonde hair. Her hair color was from her father, a white viper, who stood nearby, his pale green eyes sparkling and a gentle smile on his lips as he watched the two girls. One almost could not believe that one could shift into a black hawk and the other a golden cobra.
Zanouche carefully picked the baby up, holding her close and gazing at the sleepy face. "Is she?" the Diente questioned the little one's parents. Ikuseghan shook her head. "No, she is not a wyvern. She is a full hawk," she replied.
A call suddenly drew their heads to the sky. A long form slashed through the sky as the Wyvern Queen flew, her wings flapping gently. Carefully balancing the child, Zanouche waved as did the Tuuli Thea and her Allister. Celi let out another shrill cry that echoed across the planes of Wyvern's Court. Once a land of uncertainty, it was now the place of peace, love, and balance.
Celi, the wyvern who could had destroyed their world...had saved it.
